CAD Tech

We are currently seeking a CAD Technician to join our team of professionals in our Dallas, TX office. This position will be responsible for producing construction drawings to support a team of interior designers. This position will report to the Architectural Interior Designer.

Job Responsibilities:
•          Provide support to Architectural Production team by producing precise construction drawings
•          Work closely with a variety of design teams across multiple offices to ensure design intent is met
•          Construction documentation and detailing
•          Daily coordination with architects and consultants
•          Drawing red-line changes for construction documents throughout the project cycle
•          Research applicable codes and ordinances for assigned projects
•          Assist with construction administration duties such as requests for information and submittals
•          Occasional site visits to check on progress and accuracy related to the scope of work contracted
•          Occasional site visits for due-diligence documentation of as-built conditions
Qualifications:
•          Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering
•          3+ years of experience working in Architecture and/or Interior Design Firm
•          3+ years of experience in AutoCAD software
•          Strong written and verbal skills
•          Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills
•          Strong understanding of interior architecture
•          Ability to work successfully independently as well as in a team environment
•          License desired

Preferred Qualifications:
•          Revit and SketchUp experience is desirable
•          Experience specializing in Hospitality and/or Multifamily projects is desirable
•          Construction experience is a plus
•          License desired
