Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced director of operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of our business.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our operations - sales, design, project management, project coordinators and finance.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the business.
Monitor and manage each department to ensure we have the proper personnel and leadership to execute on our projects.
Work with the sales leaders and team to create and track goals.  Ensure the sales team is getting the proper support.  Work with the team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our customer base.
Collaborate with other departments such as accounting and marketing to ensure that all business operations and aligned and coordinated.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPI) to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize performance and profitability.
Meet regularly with CEO to give overall. Reports on operations and profitability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management or related field.
At least 5 years in operations preferably in the contract furniture business.
Strong leadership and management skills and a track record in developing and managing high achieving teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify problems and bring quick solid solutions to the table.
Prefer an understanding in Core accounting software, excel, Word, Smartsheet.
