Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Clinical Technology Solutions (CTS) team consisting of medical equipment planners that focuses on healthcare projects. The REVIT Technician provides technical support and solutions for the BIM process and specific support to the Clinical Technology Solutions (CTS) team. This position would support BIM needs for the CTS BIM Manager and the firm’s other offices. The person will work to help improve the efficiency of the BIM efforts by implementing firm wide BIM standards and BIM workflows and help guide the integration of Revit families in Revit Model of hospital rooms, integration of Revit families with medical equipment database (Attainia) and creation of Room Datasheets. You will work closely with the studio's architects, engineers and will provide guidance and support on the best way to utilize Revit on projects. You will also help develop workflows and ensure practice standards and procedures are upheld and followed.
 
Essential Responsibilities: 
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to provide technical support for Revit, AutoCAD, and all related BIM & CAD software
  • Knowledge and experience regarding the creation and development of Revit families for healthcare medical equipment and the integration of these elements within an architectural design team
  • Provide support for in-house and out-of-house plotting and electronic file submissions
  • Support and work on projects with medical planning and architectural teams
  • Improve & maintain Revit templates and standard details
  • Manage, improve, maintain and develop new office families and groups for the firm
  • Maintain and enforce BIM standards
  • Provide training and support of in-house BIM users
  • Maintain BIM library              
  • Assist with customize menus and customized lisp routines
  • Provide assistance to clash detection processes.
  • Have experience developing workflows and providing training and support to others.
Job Requirements
Education/Experience:  Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture preferred, Engineering Technology or Drafting and Design program preferred. 3-5 years of BIM experience using Revit required. Revit/Autodesk certification is beneficial. Experience in A/E healthcare or medical equipment planning preferred.
 
Certifications/Licenses/Registrations:  Candidate must have strong to expert skills in Revit. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and willingness to use insured personal vehicle in the course of employment. 
 
Qualifications/Skills: Candidate must be proficient in REVIT, Microsoft Office, and Blue Beam. Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, strong written and oral communication skills and meet deadlines. Quality and customer service focus a must. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be detail oriented and able to perform each essential duty effectively. 
  • Must possess the ability to interact and represent the firm well with clients, consultants, vendors, and external organizations on behalf of the senior management team.
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels in and outside the organization.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
